Grassroots campaigns are made strong by the diversity of skills and experiences that participants offer. Hosting a house party, door knocking, calling District 5 residents, creating supportive artwork, taking photos at a campaign event, donating money to the campaign, connecting me with an organization or community leader, and putting a yard sign in your front yard are all ways to help secure a Green future for Chico. Visit the City's interactive District Map to determine what District you live in. You can check your Voter Registration Status to ensure you are registered to vote at your current address. District 5 encompasses the neighborhoods surrounding Nord Avenue south of 8th Avenue, the south-west most Avenues, Mansion Park, Downtown, and South Campus.
Campaign donations are used for printing yard signs and informational handouts, to feed volunteers, to host campaign events, to support the campaign team, and to purchase online tools necessary for canvassing. All campaign donations and expenses will be made public periodically by the City of Chico.
